The following course has been adapted with the specific support for MEF English teachers teaching in China inside Chinese kindergartens and inside the ESL industry.

JuniorTEFL has accredited this adapted course, and the training work that MEF provides for new teachers, plus the teaching experience to certify MEF teachers successfully teaching in the MEF English program.

The certificate is broken down into the following:

• The online component
• Training on arrival
• Teaching hours/experience

Once you have completed the pre-departure course, you will earn your Level1 Junior TEFL certificate, which will also be used to help support, your work visa.
